Exams: LT ( Day 1 )

Hello! Forgive me – I know It’s been a very long time since I posted anything on this site. Being a working student is tough! Then again… I sometimes enjoy doing my work even though I complain about it all the time. So anyway here’s an update:

It’s my 27th day of being a High School Graduating student. Today was our first Long Test for the 1st Quarter. I was pretty upset and at the same time mad at myself because while studying for the exam I felt really lazy and unfocused. There were people chattering loudly outside our window which made it difficult for me to concentrate on what I’m reading and understanding. Based on what I learned from school – Studying must take place where there are no temptations ( such as computers / televisions / etc. ) and other possible causes of disturbance. If there was a library near us then I’d probably go there to study for the exams. Unfortunately… There’s none.

Now here’s the irritating part.

When the exam started just this morning my seatmates kept asking me for answers! Being the selfish person I am when it comes to exams , I just tell them I don’t know the answer to that particular number(s) or I sometimes pretend to be asleep when I’m finished so that they won’t ask me anymore. Now when the first day of the exam ended , they kept calling me killjoy and that wala akong pakisama. I just smiled at them and told them to study hard. One of my seatmate even got caught by our adviser asking answers from me! It’s a good thing she didn’t directly point at us. That would be embarrassing! I don’t want to get mistaken for cheating. My reputation in school would be ruined if that happened.

So tonight , I’m already finished studying for the last exam tomorrow. Just like what happened yesterday , I wasn’t focused at all. But you know… The weird thing is , I didn’t have any troubles with the test. I even had so much fun answering the questions! I hope It’ll be like that for tomorrow too. I don’t want to fail in the 1st Quarter! Okay. Back to studying now! I’m going to re-read my notes so that I really don’t forget what I studied for today.

My entry ends here : D
